My name is Olga Wahnich, I was born in Venezuela. I am based in Melbourne since 2007. I was trained and tutored by two of Venezuela’s greatest artists, Samuel Baroni and José Flores mostly focusing on the technical sides of charcoal, oil and acrylic painting. I participated in some collective art shows in Venezuela. Nature has always been my inspiration and it’s present in all my artwork. Four years ago I began painting pets, capturing the beauty of different animals through different techniques. It fills my heart to create artwork that will encapsulate the beautiful connection and journey of a pet owner and their furry friend.
